Ohhh Oolong! We love this tea and let us tell you why! Oolong tea has been described as the "Slimming Tea" Described as "Yu Xiang Hui Wei " oolong goes through so many different production stages in order to generate a good flavor and aroma. The tea consists of several dozens of kinds of leaves that have different flavors and aromas due to differences in the leaves, the production area, and the harvest time. Among them, Tie Guan Yin, Shui Xian, and Oolong are well known, and many renowned oolong teas are produced in Fujian Province. Oolong tea produced in the Province is exported throughout the world as the tea that is representative of China.
Our cousin handpicks the leaves from privately owned small farm in Fujian and processes the tea in Japan. As always, they put their own spin on the tea and it is wonderful to start your day with Oolong.
* 2 grams per tea bag / 15 packets per box
Preparation:
1 tea bag can yield 4 -5 cups of tea
Steep from 30 seconds - 4 minutes depending on your preferred taste
The longer you steep the stronger the tea. As you get to cups 3, 4 & 5 do not be tempted to "squeeze" the tea bag for more tea. This pulls out the bitterness and you do not want that.
